Celebrate Utah State Fair's 150th
Well, if it has been too long to remember, now is the time to change all that!
This year, the Utah State Fair is celebrating its 150th anniversary. The fair is the largest single yearly event in Utah. And you and your family couldn't get more value for your dollar. (Admission is a real bargain on opening day!) This is a great opportunity to see the best your fellow Utahns have grown, painted, photographed, carved, sewn, canned and quilted. You will be amazed at the talent we have in this great state, and it will all be on display for you and your family to see. There is also a PRCA rodeo the first four days that is free once you enter the fair. What a deal!
Last year we added "Little Hands on the Farm" to the Fairpark as a wonderful learning exhibit for children ages 3-12. As they walk through each little building they learn how our food is grown and have a "hands on" experience seeing how eggs, vegetables, milk, etc., arrive on their table. Last year around 40,000 adults and children went through the exhibit. They loved it.
Come and join us for the 150th celebration of the Utah State Fair, Sept. 8 through 18. Take time to see the best your fellow Utahns have done. Live a little, and when you see Napoleon Dynamite inviting you to the fair . . . "Where You Wildest Dreams Will Come True" . . . come! It's been long enough!
