In the past two years, I have learned to love Tulane University in New Orleans. I have received a first- rate education while at the same time enjoyed some of the best times of my life.

Part of what makes Tulane University such a great place is its home city, New Orleans — a vibrant city rich in diversity. Due to Hurricane Katrina, about 80 percent of the city has suffered water damage. Buildings have been wrecked, and trees have been uprooted. But most tragically, many of the residents of New Orleans have suffered.

It is yet uncertain how much damage has been done, but it is known that help is needed. Please go to www.nolahurricanefund.org to learn how you can help.
