Griff Robles

Spanish Fork Dons

Sport: Football

Class: Junior

Position: Quarterback

The numbers: Robles comes into the season with expectations to be the top passer in Utah County and one of the top three in the state. In his season debut at Copper Hills, Robles didn't disappoint. In just over two quarters of playing time, he completed 12 of 21 passes for 241 yards and four touchdown passes, with only one interception. He also rushed for another score. "He's one of the best quarterbacks I've seen. He's the real deal," Dons coach Scott Brumfield said.

Hailey Jeppson

Pleasant Grove Vikings

Sport: Volleyball

Class: Senior

Position: Outside hitter

The numbers: "Hailey is our go-to person game after game. She puts a high ball away very well against a double block," said coach Mike Daniel after the team's second-place finish in the Tournament of Champions at Skyline High. She has signed to play volleyball for BYU and had 20 kills in the final match against eventual champion Brighton in the Skyline Tournament. "Whenever we get into trouble, we just set Hailey," Daniel said.
