Tickets on sale

Season tickets are still available, with single-game tickets in the end zone ($17) and sideline bench seats ($30) for all games except Boston College (Sept. 3) and Utah (Nov. 19). End zone tickets to those games are $25, sideline bench seats are $40.

The new family-friendly flex plan allows fans to use 10 single-game tickets in any combination for the Eastern Illinois (Sept. 10), TCU (Sept. 24), Colorado State (Oct. 15) and Air Force (Oct. 29) games for $100.

As of Monday, the BYU ticket office reported that more than 35,000 season tickets have been sold, including over 2,200 new season-ticket orders. This year's season-ticket total is expected to exceed 45,000.

Team captains

Two-a-days conclude on Friday. This weekend, BYU players will select their team captains for the season.

"You learn a lot about your teammates during two-a-days, and leadership," said coach Bronco Mendenhall. "I think that's the appropriate time to vote on it."

Redshirt possibilities

Mendenhall said that following today's scrimmage the coaching staff will discuss which players will redshirt this season. "After (the) scrimmage and then watching that film, the ones we can clearly define, we'll do by Thursday," he said.

Mendenhall added that injury, need and readiness are three issues that will factor into who will be redshirted and those who will play.
