Major League Soccer announced Friday the 19-man roster that will travel to Spain to face nine-time European champions Real Madrid next Tuesday in the 27th annual Trofeo Santiago Bernabeu.
The star-studded MLS Select Team, led by New England coach Steve Nicol, includes RSL striker Jason Kreis, who recently scored his 100th career MLS goal.
The 19-man roster is comprised of 13 American players and six international stars, and includes one player from all 12 MLS teams. The match will be broadcast live at 1:30 p.m. on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Espanol.
Real Madrid kicks off its domestic season on Aug. 28 on the road against Cdiz.
