Members of the Utah National Guard's 19th Special Forces Group parachute from a C27J Spartan on Friday afternoon during a training exercise near Cedar Fort, Utah County. The jump was preceded by a display of a C27J at the West Jordan Army Aviation Support Facility. The C27J is managed by GMAS, a joint venture between Alenia North America and L-3 Communications Integrated Systems. The plane is being considered for inclusion by the U.S. military in its Army Future Cargo Aircraft Program.
