American Fork-based Shade Clothing has announced plans to expand its product line and the number of retail locations.
The company produces what it calls "hip, modest" clothing for women. Shade shirts are sold online, through home parties across the Western states and in several retail locations in Utah.
The company recently relocated to a large warehouse in American Fork and has expanded into four new Utah retail outlets: Whimsy, Once Upon a Shelf, Frolics and three locations of Christensen's. Previously the retail locations included Lolabella and three JMR stores.
The company said it also intends to increase the number of home party sales representatives and extend the reach of that sales method beyond the Western U.S.
