Paul Harvey, which has been missing since it was dropped by KNRS earlier this summer, is an ABC Radio property, but Hill said there are currently no plans to add him to KSL's lineup.
MORE PODCASTING Can't work your schedule around listening to the radio? Check out "Inside Utah," a new podcast aimed at giving busy executives, swamped soccer moms, Utah expatriates and anyone interested in news from the Beehive State a 30-minute weekly audio fix.
Jennifer Napier-Pearce, former KCPW radio morning host and news director, produces the show. "People like listening to the radio, but more and more, they need to listen on their timetable," she said. "This new technology gives listeners the freedom to tune in and catch up on the week's local news whenever they want."
Sign up at www.insideutah.com, then new programs can download to your iPod or mp3 player automatically as they become available. If you don't have an mp3 player, you can listen to the Webcast on your computer.
KCPW also has its own separate podcasts now, available at www.kcpw.org.
RADIO DISNEY PARTY AM 910, KWDZ, is hosting an end-of-the-summer bash on Saturday, 4-6 p.m., at the Hollywood Connection, 3217 S. Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City. Hope 7 will be there in concert. Fans may also find team members at various Meier & Frank stores along the Wasatch Front this weekend.
KCPW CHANGES Starting Monday, WBUR in Boston will no longer offer "The Connection," which has been airing on KCPW (AM-1010, FM-88.3/105.3) for several years. As a result, "On Point," with Tom Ashbrook moves to the 1-2 p.m. slot, replacing "The Connection."
"To the Point," with Warren Olney, will make its debut on KCPW at 8 p.m. in the former "On Point" slot. "As It Happens" will be on Monday through Thursday at 9 p.m., and KCPW will move "Science Friday" back to a 7-9 p.m. slot (also repeating Sunday afternoons).
