Talbots, a specialty clothing retailer, announced it will close its store at Trolley Square at the end of business Thursday. It will open two new stores, Talbots and Talbots Women, at Fashion Plaza, 194 E. Winchester St., the following day.
Doors will open at the new Talbots stores at 10 a.m. on Friday. A ribbon-cutting and prize drawing will be held at 11 a.m., hosted by Talbots chairman and chief executive, Arnold Zetcher.
Customers also may enter a drawing to win a $200 Talbots gift card during business hours Friday through Sunday.
