OREM The Utah Valley State College high school concurrent enrollment program will host an open house on Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Mountainland Applied Technology College, 987 S. Geneva Road.
Concurrent enrollment allows high school students to take college-level classes at their respective high schools that count for both high school and college credit.
As a result, students can get a head start on their college education for a small fraction of the cost of college tuition. Some students have earned an associates degree before high school graduation.
Parents and students who attend the open house will find information on scholarships, financial aid, academic advising, distance education, and tutoring. Prizes will also be given away.
Call UVSC concurrent enrollment at 863-8376 for more information.
