Davis County Fair loaded with free events, concerts

FARMINGTON — The Davis County Fair, running Aug. 17-20, will be one of the last diversions for families before school starts.

Most activities at the fair, in the Davis County FairPark, west of I-15, are free, including concerts each evening. This year's concert lineup includes country and western, an a cappella group and a concert pianist.

Other fair events include free family movies, a petting zoo, senior citizens day, bingo, ice cream social, demolition derby, baby show, a pie-eating contest, a watermelon-eating contest and a professional rodeo.
