Salt Lake County sheriff's investigators Thursday were looking for men involved in a home invasion robbery.
Shortly after 1 a.m., three to six armed men broke into a home near 4700 S. Green Valley Drive, Salt Lake County Sheriff's Sgt. Chris Ownby said.
Five people, ages 17 to 21, were home when the men forced open the front door and made everyone get on the floor. During the robbery, which lasted about 20 minutes, the men threatened to kill a female resident, Ownby said.
The men took an undisclosed amount of cash and property from the house, including the victims' cell phones.
On their way out of the home, the robbers hit two of the male victims on the head, possibly with a rifle, Ownby said.
The two victims fled the house after the robbers left and were later found by deputies in the neighborhood. One was transported to the hospital with a cut to his head and received stitches.
