Sergio Galvan Rey snapped a 2-2 tie in the 74th minute off a perfect pass from Ante Razov, and the MetroStars rallied for a 3-2 victory Wednesday night over FC Dallas in East Rutherford, N.J.

The victory snapped a two-game losing streak for the MetroStars (7-6-7) and extended the team's unbeaten streak at home to seven games (4-0-3). FC Dallas, which leads the Western Conference, fell to 10-5-4 overall.

FC Dallas seemed to take command in the 47th minute, when Clarence Goodson knocked a rebound past goalkeeper Tony Meola for his second goal of the game — and only the second of his two-year career.

Goodson's other score came in the 39th minute off a cross from Roberto Mina, tying the score 1-1.

The MetroStars scored first on Razov's goal in the seventh minute.

After Goodson's second goal seemed to deflate the MetroStars, a gift tied it.

Youri Djorkaeff made a corner kick toward goalkeeper Scott Garlick, who failed to catch the ball. Mike Magee, standing behind Garlick, knocked home the dropped ball for the tying goal in the 68th minute.

Six minutes later, Razov's lead pass sent Galvan Rey past the Dallas back line untouched and unguarded, and he slid the ball past Garlick.

GALAXY 1, REVOLUTION 1: At Foxboro, Mass., Los Angeles and New England tied on goals by Herculez Gomez and Shalrie Joseph.

The Galaxy (8-7-5) took the lead in the 16th minute when Gomez converted a through ball from Landon Donovan on a breakaway down the right side.

Then Joseph tied it for New England (10-3-6) on a penalty kick after Galaxy defender Ugo Ihemelu was whistled for a handball.
