Communities to mark Pioneer Day

Communities throughout Utah will celebrate Pioneer Day this weekend with a variety of activities. Here is a list of planned events:

BEAVER COUNTY

CACHE COUNTY

Mendon: Saturday, 7 a.m., flag ceremony; 7:10 a.m., breakfast; 7:15 a.m., fun runs; 8:30 a.m., free pancake-eating contest; 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m., games, food, booths, followed by fireworks at dusk; 435-752-2439.

DAVIS COUNTY
