THE CHILDREN'S THEATRE OF SALT LAKE, celebrating its 20th season, is including a Broadway musical on its 2005-06 schedule. Dates and productions are:
Oct. 28-Nov. 12: "Seussical the Musical"
Dec. 2-22: "Madeline's Christmas," a stage adaptation of Ludwig Bemelmans' story.
Jan. 13-28: "Curious George," featuring antics by H.A. Rey's famous monkey.
Feb. 24-March 11: "James and the Giant Peach," a CTSL revival of one of Raold Dahl's popular tales.
May 12-June 3: "Amelia Bedelia Goes Camping," which takes Peggy Parrish's beloved and slightly screwball character into the great outdoors.
In a change from previous seasons, the company will move its Saturday evening performances to 4 p.m. in order to better accommodate children's bedtimes.
Public performances will be on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 1 and 4 p.m. at 638 S. State. A 10-pass ticket good for any show is $75 (532-6000).

PYGMALION PRODUCTIONS THEATRE CO., which produces shows in the Rose Wagner Center, leans toward quirky, off-Broadway material.
The company has just announced that it has acquired the regional rights to "Frozen," Bryony Lavery's 2004 Tony Award-winner, but it's listed as "coming soon" and will probably be part of the following 2006-07 season (unless it's inserted somewhere as a "bonus," like Salt Lake Acting Company is doing with its non-season production of "I Am My Own Wife").
