Public comment is being accepted in the proposed appointment of Paul F. Iwasaki as a juvenile court judge in the 2nd Judicial District.
Iwasaki has been appointed by Gov. Jon Huntsman and must now be confirmed by the Senate. Anyone desiring to submit comment on the qualifications of Iwasaki can contact: Jerry D. Howe at the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, Utah State Capitol Complex, W210 House Building, Salt Lake City, UT 84114. Statements from the public should include the presenter's name, telephone number and mailing address. Comments must be received by 5 p.m. July 18.
