Legacy Auto Group will break ground for a new freestanding dealership for Legacy Mazda at 11 a.m. today at 55 E. University Parkway, Orem.
Legacy Auto Group is the corporate owner of Legacy Ford/Mazda, previously known as Allen Patch Ford/Mazda.
The ground formerly housed Granite Furniture.
Legacy Auto Group will build a 30,000-square-foot Mazda dealership on the site. Legacy Mazda now is operated out of the same building as Legacy Ford in Orem. The new facility is scheduled to open in December. It will have a car wash, quick-lube lane and an Internet cafe.
