Color of land

Doug Braithwaite's "A Work in Progress" (oil on board) is this year's $5,000 Purchase Award winner in the Deseret Morning News/Days of '47 Landscape Art Show, "Color of the Land." Braithwaite's painting will become part of the Deseret Morning News corporate art collection. A complete list of art-show winners will be published in Sunday's Arts section.
