PROVO Troy W. Carlton of the nursing school faculty will speak Tuesday at a Brigham Young University campus devotional at 11:05 a.m. in the de Jong Concert Hall.
Carlton worked for 22 years as a staff nurse for Intermountain Health Care and earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Utah and a master's from BYU. He is working on his dissertation for the doctoral program at the University of Colorado.
Carlton's research interests include patient outcomes and nursing values.
The devotional will be broadcast to the Joseph Smith Building auditorium and the Varsity Theater in the Wilkinson Student Center. It also will be carried live on KBYU-TV, BYU-Television, KBYU-FM 89.1, BYU-Radio and byubroadcasting.org.
