Thank you, Deseret Morning News, for your wonderful July 6 article (Page D6) about former Utah Starzz player Jennifer Azzi. It's always a breath of fresh air to read about a pro athlete who isn't driven by money or endorsement deals.
Jennifer Azzi, through her talents in basketball, her strong work ethic and her commitment to the community, is someone who all young people can look up to as a true role model. Even though the Utah Starzz are no longer a part of our community, I am very grateful Jennifer Azzi still is.
