Certainly Orrin Hatch would be a very acceptable candidate (to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor), but my guess is President Bush will select a woman or a minority person to give balance to the Court. Justice O'Connor gave balance to both the right and left, not always on target, but very open-handed. We have such a person in Christine Durham, our Utah Supreme Court judge. She is very fair-minded person and has done many of the same things Justice Connor did in her 24 years on the court.
