A Colorado boy died this past week after falling from a cliff in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, marking the sixth fatal accident in the park this year.
The 14-year-old from Littleton, Colo., was climbing on the rocks about 2 p.m. when he fell nearly 130 feet down the cliff side, according to reports.
Family members took turns trying to resuscitate the boy for more than an hour before a helicopter was able to reach the area. The boy was taken to Page Hospital in Arizona, where he was pronounced dead at 4 p.m.
