Fireworks displays, large and small, are planned across the Wasatch Front this weekend to celebrate the Fourth of July. Among them:

Davis County

Centerville: July 2, 6 p.m., Children's Parade, Main Street, 7-9 p.m., free concert at Founders Park; July 4, 7-9 a.m., Breakfast, Founders Park; 7 a.m., 5k run, children's races; 9 a.m., parade on Main Street, starts on Chase Lane, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., art exhibit and quilt display, Centerville Elementary; outdoor festival and entertainment at Founders Park; police auction at 1 p.m., Founders Park, 295-3477.

Clearfield: Clearfield Heritage Days, July 2: Free Family Movie Night, Fisher Park at dusk; July 4: 7-10 a.m., 5k run and 2-mile walk; 9:30 a.m. parade; all day, booths, games, arts/crafts, live entertainment, "Fire in the Mountain," bluegrass band, food, family games, kiddie park, inflatables, petting zoo at Fisher Park; 1-6 p.m., Open Plunge at the Clearfield Aquatic Center, 7:30 p.m., "Seussical the Musical," at the Bicentennial Park Amphitheater, fireworks at 10 p.m., 525-2790.

Farmington: July 4, 10 p.m., Lagoon fireworks display.

Kaysville: July 1, 2, 4, noon-9 p.m., Carnival, DATC; July 3, 7 p.m., patriotic devotional, Davis High School Auditorium; July 4, 6:30 a.m., breakfast;7:30 a.m., 5k and 10k run/walk; 11 a.m., parade; noon-9 p.m., booths, multicultural festival, carnival; 10 p.m., fireworks, DATC, 544-3088.

Layton: July 4, 6:30-10:30 a.m., Breakfast in the Bowery, 6:45 a.m.; 5K Fun Run/Walk Registration, 7:15 a.m., 5K Fun Walkers Start, 7:30 a.m., 5K Fun Runners Start; 8 a.m., Flag-Raising Ceremony at Ed Kenley Amphitheater; 9 a.m., All Star Games; 10:30 a.m., Parade, booths open; noon, Surf 'n Swim Opens; 12:30 p.m., children's carnival concessions, entertainment, Commons Park; 8 p.m., New American Symphony with Cannoneers at Ed Kenley Amphitheater; dusk, fireworks, 336-3900.
