A young peregrine falcon, injured Wednesday when it flew into a downtown building, is being evaluated by a trained bird rehabilitator, said Bob Walters of the Division of Wildlife Resources. If the bird is able to fly, it will be returned to its parents as soon as possible. If its injuries are too extensive for it to return home, it could become a "teaching" bird for the division's education program, Walters said.
