In Draper, fireworks will only be allowed in the heart of the city, between I-15 and 1300 East, north of 13800 South.
Fireworks are prohibited in the area of Provo south of Center Street and east of 900 East and east of Timpview Drive.
In Lehi, fireworks are banned in three parts of the city. The first is the area north of the Alpine Highway, including the Traverse Ridge development. The other two zones are near Dry Creek, one on 600 East and the other on 1200 East.
In Davis County, Layton residents cannot use fireworks east of U.S. 89. Centerville residents can't have fireworks east of Island View, and Bountiful residents can't have fireworks east of Bountiful Boulevard.
In Weber County, Ogden and South Ogden residents are allowed to use fireworks but must keep them out of the foothills.
Unified Fire Authority Capt. Marlon Jones said as the summer goes on, the green growth currently on the ground could quickly turn brown under summer's hot and dry weather. And that, he said, could mean restrictions for Pioneer Day later this month.
