NEPHI Police were led on a high-speed chase Wednesday night when Utah Highway Patrol troopers attempted to pull over a vehicle after observing some reckless driving.
The driver, however, refused to stop, said Doug McCleve, spokesman for UHP.
McCleve said, at one point, the driver of the car crossed the median and drove into oncoming traffic on I-15.
The car reached 100 mph, he said. The vehicle finally stopped north of Nephi, and its two occupants took off on foot. Police caught the two, he said. They remain in custody.
