LEHI — Diabetes is tough at any age, but it can be a special challenge for families when a child gets it. The American Diabetes Association offers a two-day camp for children ages 4-7 with diabetes to help them learn how to manage their diabetes and meet other kids like them while having fun.

The ADA Diabetes Clubhouse is held each summer at two Utah locations: July 7-8 at Thanksgiving Point, Aug. 5 in Brigham City. Cost of the Thanksgiving point camps is $40 per child and includes all activities, meals and snacks. The one-day session in Brigham City is $20. A limited number of scholarships are available for both sessions.

To register a child for Diabetes Clubhouse, call Gayle Burns at 1-888-DIABETES ext. 7073. Registration closes today.
