A look at some of the activities planned around the state for the Fourth of July:

June 30-July 4: Oakley's Fourth of July Celebration and Rodeo Festivities include PRCA Rodeo, horse show, BBQs, fireworks and more. Phone: 435-783-5734.

July 1-4: Mt. Pleasant Hub City Days & Blackhawk Rendezvous. Rodeo, mountainman rendezvous and golf tournament. Phone: 435-462-3816.

July 2-4: Huntington Heritage Days. Phone: 435-687-2436.

July 4: Manti Fourth of July. Breakfast at 6 a.m. Activities all through the day. Fireworks at dark. Phone: 435-835-2401.

July 4: Park City's traditional Independence Day celebration. All-day activities include pancake breakfast at City Park, 5k walk/run, mid-morning parade down Main Street followed by a picnic, free live entertainment and games for children at City Park. Annual doubles volleyball tournament. Fireworks display at dusk. Phone: 435-649-6100.

July 4: Utah Symphony & Opera at Deer Valley Resort. Patriotic favorites with the music of John Williams. The symphony brings musical fireworks to Deer Valley with Sousa marches and other favorites. Phone: 800-864-9298.

July 4-7: Military Appreciation Days at Hogle Zoo. All military personnel and their immediate family (spouse and dependent).
