Mountainland Association holds on to $3.5 million

Mountainland Association of Governments is given about $3.5 million in state and federal funds to oversee and operate government programs for the elderly.

Utah County government chiefs recently mounted an unsuccessful campaign to wrest the responsibility of providing the services away from MAG. If they had been successful, they would have received a chunk of those funds.
