Regence offers new Medicare benefits plan

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah announced it will offer a new plan that offers Medicare beneficiaries expanded Medicare benefits in addition to services specific to Regence coverage.

The Regence MedAdvantage plan, recently approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, provides Medicare benefits, plus preventive care, dental and vision coverage.

The plan is available as a preferred provider organization plan, effective July 1. Patients in Salt Lake, Summit, Utah and Weber counties are eligible to apply.
