From Deseret News archives:
Boyer aims to create long-term value
clients.
In that goal, the company has largely succeeded, and in the process has become one of the largest developers of commercial real estate in the Intermountain West.
The Boyer Co. has developed more than 15 million square feet of commercial space in several states and also manages more than 12 million square feet of office buildings, shopping centers, medical buildings, apartments, hotels and residential projects.
Boyer's focus on fostering strong relationships with partner companies and municipalities means that the company usually is able to secure funding commitments in a short period of time. Its emphasis on high-quality buildings with state-of-the-art design also has led to the company's strong reputation within the industry.
One of Boyer's flagship developments is The Gateway, a $375 million shopping, office and residential center built on a former railyard in downtown Salt Lake City, which features 700,000 square feet of retail and more than 400,000 square feet of office space and museums, as well as nearly 500 residential units.
