THE HOPI FESTIVAL OF ARTS AND CULTURE at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff will be July 2 and 3. Fine arts and crafts, music and traditional dances, as well as demonstrations on weaving, pottery, overlay jewelry, basketry and paintings, will be part of the festivities. Admission is $5 adults, $4 seniors, $3 students and $2 children. Hours are 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Visual, musical feasts

ART SANTA FE — 2005 will be July 14-17 at the Sweeney Convention Center in downtown Santa Fe. This is a contemporary art festival that runs the gamut from edgy to more established works. Gallery representatives from Europe, Asia and North and South America will participate. A Friday evening lecture by Phillippe de Montebello, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for over 25 years, is among the highlights.

Performances at the Santa Fe Opera, the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and the Santa Fe Jazz Festival take place during the same time period.
