Spanish Fork sets a day for beautification efforts

SPANISH FORK — Spanish Fork's public works department invites residents to participate in this year's Community Beautification Service Day.

Organizers of the July 9 event recommend that volunteer groups schedule a project between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A list of service projects, along with information about the tools that will be needed and the number of people needed to finish the job, will be available by June 20.

The lists will be at the city's engineering office, 40 S. Main.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Call is 798-5000 ext. 22 for information.
