Thank you for the uplifting and informative article on the blind students following the Donner trail to Salt Lake City (June 10). It meant so much to the students involved and the staff and sponsors who spent the last nine months planning the activity. A documentary film will be created from footage shot along the trail and will be part of a presentation in Salt Lake City next summer to a national audience of educators of the blind. Your article will no doubt be archival material for numerous people and organizations, including the National Park Service, Kansas School for the Blind, Oregon-California Trails Association and Accessible Arts Inc.
