A 17-year-old is in custody after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at a group near a Salt Lake City convenience store.
An in-store surveillance camera caught a confrontation between a group of people Saturday night at approximately 900 N. 900 West, Salt Lake police Lt. Dave Askerlund said.
The juvenile allegedly fired seven rounds at or toward the others. He ran to a building adjacent to the convenience store, where he was later arrested, Askerlund said.
The others involved in the altercation fled. Police were unable to locate any damage from the shots fired.
