KBYU to show series about LDS Church sites

PROVO — Beginning Sunday, KBYU Television will air a new five-part series, "Road to Zion: Travels in Church History," which will take viewers on road trips to the most significant historical sites of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Hosted by Shaunna Thompson, "Road to Zion" begins in Palmyra, N.Y.; then travels to Kirtland, Ohio; Missouri; and Nauvoo, Ill., and then heads west to Utah by way of Martin's Cove, Wyo.

A production of BYU Broadcasting, the series will air on KBYU Television (Channel 11) on June 5, 12, 19 and 26 and July 3 at 6:30 p.m.

It will also air on the BYU Television satellite network on June 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 9 p.m.; June 4, 11, 18 and 25 and July 2 at 6:30 p.m.; and June 6, 13, 20 and 27 and July 4 at 5 p.m.
