Pitcher: Had a 7-0 record, including two wins in the playoffs with a 1.29 ERA. Also played first base and hit .503.

4A MVP

Mark Pawelek, Springville

Pitcher: All-time strikeout leader did not surrender an earned run all season. Went 10-0 while striking out 132 batters.

3A MVP

Joe Via, Carbon

Catcher: Power hitter was so feared that he walked more than 30 times on the year. Hit .459 with eight home runs.

2A MVP

Ryan Reather, Juan Diego

Shortstop: Hit .425 with 10 doubles and 22 RBIs, but his defense at the most demanding position anchored the team.
