PROVO Two motorcyclists were injured Tuesday night when one man lost control of his bike near 900 E. 1860 South.
Provo Police Sgt. Gary Hodson said Delin Ma, 21, Provo, was traveling westbound on 1860 South at an excessive speed when he passed over a road expansion joint and lost control of his motorcycle.
He collided with another motorcyclist, Karl Allan, a 33-year-old from Springville, according to the statement issued by Hodson.
Both men were ejected from their motorbikes, according to the statement.
The two men were transported to nearby hospitals.
Ma, who suffered head injuries, was in critical condition, and Allan was in stable condition. Both drivers were wearing helmets.
Police continue to investigate the accident.
