For the first time since 1875, Westminster College will hold its commencement ceremony off campus, with exercises scheduled for 8:45 a.m. Saturday at the E Center in West Valley City.
Graduation was moved because of construction on Westminster's $15 million Health, Wellness and Athletics Center.
Former Utah Gov. Olene Walker will give the commencement address and receive an Honorary Doctorate of Public Service degree.
The Very Reverend Rick Lawson also will receive an honorary doctorate degree. Lawson is an ordained priest in the Anglican Communion.
