  • Utah County Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG) will meet at 7 p.m. in the Timpanogos Regional Hospital, 750 W. 800 North, Orem in the cafeteria classroom. Dr. Janet Harnesberger, pediatric gastroenterologist, will give a presentation. Gluten-free refreshments will be served. Call Robert at 763-0977 for information.

  • Tour of Utah at Thanksgiving Point Stage Race and Cycling Festival, today through Monday, May 30, at the Electric Park. Vendors will provide cycling goods and concessions. The festival also features live entertainment including musical performers, a BMX air show and professional racing on site. For information visit www.tourofutah.com.

  • Reed Smoot Awards Banquet, 7 p.m. in the Provo City Library at Academy Square, 550 N. University Ave. Cost is $30 per person. Includes the Citizen of the Year award for Provo. Call 851-2555 for information.

  • "Twelve O'clock High" will be shown as a tribute to veterans at 7 p.m. in the Harold B. Lee Library auditorium. The event is part of the Special Collections Motion Picture Archives Film Series at Brigham Young University. Admission is free, but seating is limited.

  • School's Out! is the topic for tonight's Pleasant Grove Macey's Little Theatre Kitchen. Learn how to fortify your summer with ideas for family field trips, kitchen projects and mother's stress relief techniques. Call 796-6601 for information.

  • Local filmmakers will be featured tonight at the Barnes & Noble, 330 E. 1300 South, Orem, at 7:30 p.m. This is the fourth night featuring local filmmakers. Entries were submitted earlier for tonight's viewing.

Saturday, May 28

  • Larry H. Miller Delta 500, 9 a.m. at Electric Park at Thanksgiving Point. This is the annual car sale featuring Ford, Lexus and Mercedes.

Monday, May 30

  • Monday at Thanksgiving Point

  • Museum Mondays, 5-7 p.m. at the Museum of Ancient Life. Cost is $5 per person. Activities are family-oriented and feature dinosaur-related events. Tonight's featured activity is dinosaur origami.

  • Family Night on the Farm, 6 p.m. Cost is $3.50, $2.50 for children. Bring the kids to Farm Country and enjoy some great activities. Tonight is Pet a Pig — Make that a Piglet!
