The body of Sgt. Brandon Thomas, below, is carried by the Honor Guard of the 19th Special Forces Group of the Utah National Guard at the airport Friday. His mother, Carol Thomas Young, at left clutching his dog tags, last spoke to her son the day before he died. Thomas' father, Steve Thomas, bottom left, said his son was in Iraq because he was "wanting to help his fellow man." Funeral services will be held Tuesday in Draper.
