Art Access (a program of VSA arts of Utah) will host six 12-hour art workshops for teens with and without needs. Each workshop is taught by a professional artist whose work is being exhibited at Art Access. Workshops are limited to 13 students. There is a $10 registration fee. The Utah Arts Council has purchased a carved walking stick and a cane, two pieces of traditional folk art created by Escalante artist Dueane Dutton. The artist gathers aspen starts and carves them into geometric and organic designs. For more information on the Folk Arts program call 533-5760.
