RAIN AT INDY: The schedules just got more hectic for teams at the Indianapolis 500. Rain washed out Thursday's practice session during a week that was already shortened because there were no practices scheduled for Monday or Tuesday.
It is the third time this month that rain has shortened practice or qualifying. The final two days of this month's time trials are set for Saturday and Sunday.

Prosecutors said he and two other men tried to pick up a package of drugs shipped to Cincinnati. Judge Arthur Spiegel could have sentenced Williams, 23, on Wednesday to 10 years or more in prison, federal authorities said. Williams apologized in court to his family, the judge and the community.
