Salt Lake-based LanDesk Software has been named to the Red Herring Top 100 for the second straight year.
The list is an annual survey of North America-based private technology companies with a strong information technology market presence. The online news magazine said companies were selected based on the ability to survive and succeed in the technology marketplace through their technology, innovation and market strategy.
For the 2005 evaluation, Red Herring editors evaluated business models, analyzed profitability forecasts, assessed management teams and examined technology using quantitative and qualitative data from almost 1,000 technology companies.
LanDesk provides integrated systems and security management products.
