Congratulations to the teachers and administrators at Eisenhower Junior High School on their success in helping their students break several world records, including that of making the world's longest paper-clip chain.
I hope those who criticize Utah for spending so little on education have taken note. While our students do not have adequate textbooks, our teachers are doing a marvelous job of finding constructive ways to use the time normally spent learning from these textbooks. Also, I doubt you'll find a school district anywhere with a higher ratio of paper clips per student.
