Take College Level Examination Program tests to "test out" of required college classes. Take only two or three ninth-grade classes with your friends and four college classes every four months (fall, winter and summer). Decide what you want to learn in college (like aviation or computers) and take at least one class in that major in ninth grade.

4. By 10th grade, if you have followed this plan, you should have only a few advanced placement, concurrent enrollment or other classes left to take in high school each year. Be sure to finish two years of college by the end of 10th grade.

You will be able to apply for the New Century Scholarship to pay for 75 percent of your last two years of college courses while you are still finishing high school.

Just like the 18-year-old high school student who is graduating from the University of Utah this spring, you can earn a diploma and bachelor's degree at the same time.
