Utah Olmec celebration

Sisters Miriam, left, and Rebecca Delgado of West Jordan hold a wreath that was presented Saturday during an Olmec celebration at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South in West Valley City. The festivities, which featured traditional Mexican food, music, speeches and children's games, was held to mark the first anniversary of the arrival of a replica of Olmec head No. 8 at the center. The 7 1/2-ton replica was a gift to the center from the state of Veracruz, Mexico.
