PLEASANT GROVE — Young "Star Wars" fans know the "Episode III, Revenge of the Sith" movie — which opens May 19 — is rated PG-13 because it contains some pretty dark material.

They understand that this time the ending probably isn't going to be happy, and they recognize there's a good amount of violence written into the story.

But they figure they're going to be in the audience anyway — although most understand it will be after their parents sign off on them going.

"My mom and dad have to see it first," said Dustin Dennison, a sixth-grade student at Pleasant Grove Central Elementary. "Mine, too," said Clari Gann, a classmate.

"I think Anakin's going to go bad," said Dustin Young, also a sixth-grader at Central Elementary.

"He gets blown up, I think," said Austin Heder.

"The Sith are the bad guys and the Republic are the good guys," explained Chase Kaylor. "General Grevious is bad. He's part of the Sith, and he has four arms. The Sith are the dark-side people."

"The Sith look cool," Heder said, "but I don't know much about them, really."

Brock Bodily said he can't wait to see the latest of the "Star Wars" movies. The trailers have him intrigued. He doesn't intend to take 'no' for an answer when he asks his parents to let him see it.

"I saw some previews, too," Young said. "The lightsabres are like, kew, kew, kew!"

"Yeah, he's like . . . 'arrrgh' and 'kew!' " Dennison said, flashing an imaginary lightsabre in the air.

Gann said she, too, is looking forward to seeing the movie but probably not so much for the action sequences as the boys.

She's interested in what happens to Anakin Skywalker and Queen Amidala.

"I like Star Wars," she said.
