PROVO Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will speak at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday in the de Jong Concert Hall in the Harris Fine Arts Center at the Brigham Young University devotional.
Bednar graduated from BYU with a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in organizational communication. He also received a doctoral degree from Purdue University.
Prior to his current responsibilities, Bednar served as president of Ricks College, which at that time was the largest private junior college in the United States with an enrollment of 8,500 full-time students.
