On May 1, coverage of the Davis County Republican Convention was reported, along with results of the elections for county party officers. Although it was only a few paragraphs, I am amazed that they received coverage when The Deseret Morning News failed to cover the convention of the Davis County Democrats held three weeks ago.
It is interesting to note that our keynote speaker, a columnist from the Deseret Morning News, Frank Pignanelli, still gave no incentive for the News to cover our convention. However, it is no surprise that the News would chose to cover the Republican convention over the Democratic convention. Over the years, the paper has neglected to cover most of the activities involving the Davis County Democrats.
We are fully confident that a liberal media does not exist at least here in Davis County.
